The Principles Behind Every Product
Local-first
Products are designed to process and store records on your device whenever possible, instead of defaulting to a remote account.
Evidence-first
Conclusions stay connected to the source documents that support them, so you can inspect the evidence behind every entry.
Human judgment in control
Software surfaces candidates and organizes evidence. You review, confirm, edit, reject, or defer—nothing is finalized without you.

Investment Vault: Reconstruct Ownership History From Your Documents
Scattered statements, transfers, confirmations, inherited records, DRS activity, and missing history make ownership hard to prove. Investment Vault helps you organize those records into a clearer, evidence-linked ownership and transaction history—processed locally on your device, reviewed by you, with no investment advice.
Guides: reconstructing history from statements, transfer records, and inherited brokerage paperwork.

Investment Vault, Explained
Clear answers about privacy, supported documents, local processing, private beta, and what Investment Vault does—and does not do.
What is Investment Vault?
Investment Vault is an evidence-first software application from Dog House Ventures LLC that helps users organize brokerage statements, confirmations, transfers, DRS activity, inherited records, and other supporting documents into a clearer, evidence-linked investment history—processed locally on the device.
Who developed Investment Vault?
Investment Vault is developed and published by Dog House Ventures LLC, a Connecticut software company. Investment Vault is a product brand, not a separate legal company.
What problem does Investment Vault solve?
Investment records often scatter across years, brokers, email, downloads, and inherited files. Investment Vault helps organize those documents, review extracted candidate events, identify potential gaps based on provided evidence, and preserve a source-linked history you can inspect and export.
Is Investment Vault an investment service or brokerage?
No. Investment Vault is not a brokerage, trading platform, portfolio manager, or investment service. It does not execute trades, hold assets, or provide investment recommendations.
Does Investment Vault provide financial, tax, or legal advice?
No. Investment Vault is a records and evidence-organization tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice and does not replace a CPA, attorney, broker, or transfer agent.
What records can Investment Vault organize?
Investment Vault is designed for supported PDF brokerage statements and related documents, including transfer-related and DRS-related documents reflected in those files—and scanned records processed with on-device OCR. OCR is used only to acquire candidate information; it is not automatically trusted, so you still review, edit, confirm, reject, or defer each candidate event. Exact support may evolve during private beta.
Is data stored or processed locally?
Supported records are processed locally on your device. Dog House Ventures does not receive those imported records through the app. You remain responsible for device security and backups of important files and exports.
How can users join Investment Vault Private Beta?
