Doghouse

Dog House Ventures LLC's governed operations platform · In development

Dog House Ventures LLC is the company. Doghouse is the internal, governed platform we are building to coordinate our own AI-assisted work. It is not a product you can sign up for today, and this page describes its intended design, not a commercially available system.

AI-assisted work needs the same discipline as any other consequential work

As Dog House Ventures uses AI systems to help build and operate its products, we want that work held to the same standard as any other consequential business process: clear authorization, preserved context, meaningful review, and a record that can be checked afterward. Doghouse is our internal name for the system designed to do that.

A Governed Layer Around AI-Assisted Work

Doghouse coordinates work; it does not replace human accountability for it.

  • Coordinate AI-assisted work

Organizes tasks and context so AI-assisted work stays oriented toward an intended outcome instead of drifting.

  • Preserve mission context

Keeps the reason a piece of work was authorized attached to the work itself, not lost between steps.

  • Bound authority

Scopes what an AI-assisted action is allowed to do, rather than granting open-ended access by default.

  • Require human approval where appropriate

Routes consequential actions back to a person before they take effect.

  • Capture supporting evidence

Keeps a record of what informed a decision, not just the decision itself.

  • Maintain traceable records

Makes it possible to look back and understand how a piece of work happened.

Doghouse is also designed to keep the external AI providers it coordinates replaceable—no single vendor is treated as a permanent dependency.

What this page does not disclose

In keeping with how we handle security and implementation details generally, this page does not publish Doghouse's internal schemas, runtime contracts, adapter implementations, repository structure, security mechanisms, prompts, provider configuration, or audit-chain implementation details. What's described here is the intent and governing principles, not a technical specification.

Doghouse is developed by Dog House Ventures LLC, the same company that publishes Investment Vault and is developing ProofReady. Read more about the company or get in touch.
