Privacy Policy

How Dog House Ventures handles information provided through this website, support, and Investment Vault.

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Dog House Ventures LLC (“Dog House Ventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with this website, support communications, and the Investment Vault product.

This website does not include account systems, analytics trackers, or cookies placed by Dog House Ventures for tracking purposes. Buddy, the optional public website assistant, runs in your browser session. The contact form inside Buddy prepares an email in your email application and does not store your name, email, or message on this website.

Local processing by Investment Vault

Investment Vault processes supported records locally on your device. Dog House Ventures does not receive those imported records through the app.

Confirmed ownership events, integrity checks, audit history, and chain-of-custody records associated with locally processed files remain under the user’s control on the device where Investment Vault is used, except to the extent you choose to export or send materials yourself.

Information sent voluntarily by email

We may receive information you voluntarily provide through email or Buddy’s contact form, such as your name, email address, and message. Buddy does not upload that information to a Dog House Ventures server. If you choose Send by email, your email application transmits the message through ordinary email infrastructure.

Buddy website assistant

Buddy is an optional public concierge on this website. Buddy answers from already published public website information only. Buddy is not connected to the live Doghouse Knowledge Web and does not use a generative AI model.

Questions you type and Buddy’s replies remain in your browser session for that visit. Dog House Ventures does not operate a conversation database for Buddy on this website.

Hosting-provider technical data

The hosting provider that serves this website may automatically process limited technical data such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser or device information, requested URLs, timestamps, and security or access logs under the provider’s own privacy practices. Dog House Ventures does not claim that hosting providers process nothing.

How information is used

Information you voluntarily provide is used to respond to inquiries, provide support, communicate product updates related to your request, and meet legal or operational obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We may rely on limited service providers necessary to operate this website or communicate with you, such as website hosting providers and email service providers. Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. For example, email you send to us is transmitted through email infrastructure and is not processed locally on this website.

Sharing

We share information only when reasonably necessary to operate the website or respond to your communications, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or with service providers acting on our behalf. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Retention

We retain voluntarily provided communications only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including support follow-up, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the communication.

Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of a public website and direct email communications. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim absolute security.

User choices

Because this website does not use accounts or Dog House Ventures–controlled analytics cookies, most interactions occur only if you choose to email us or use Buddy to prepare a contact email. Buddy conversation text stays in your browser session and is not stored by Dog House Ventures. You may choose not to provide information. If you have already contacted us, you may ask us to update or delete information we hold from those communications, subject to legal retention needs.

Deletion requests

To request deletion of information you previously sent by email or through Buddy, contact us at doug@doghouseventures.com. We will take reasonable steps to delete information under our control. We cannot guarantee deletion from every third-party system, including email providers or hosting providers that independently retain technical logs.

Children’s privacy

This website and Investment Vault are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the effective date of the current version. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes notice of the revised policy for website visitors.
