Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, software products, tools, features, and services provided by Dog House Ventures LLC (“Dog House Ventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Dog House Ventures develops multiple products, including Investment Vault, Pawsy, ProofReady, Doghouse, and Social Footprint, and may develop additional products. Individual Services may be subject to additional product-specific terms, privacy disclosures, notices, licenses, or agreements. Read these Terms together with any additional documents applicable to the Services you use. Investment Vault-specific descriptions and requirements below apply to that product.

By using the Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and meet any eligibility requirements applicable to the product you use. To use Investment Vault, you must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

You may use the website to learn about Dog House Ventures and its products, review legal information, and contact us. You may use other Services, when available to you, for their intended lawful purposes and subject to any applicable product-specific terms. For example, you may use Investment Vault to import supported records you are authorized to use, review extracted candidate events, reconstruct ownership histories from evidence you provide, and export records for your own lawful purposes.

You may not misuse the Services, attempt to disrupt or compromise any Service, reverse engineer except where applicable law prohibits that restriction, use the Services for unlawful purposes, import records you are not authorized to possess or process, or misrepresent your identity when contacting us.

You are solely responsible for the information and records you provide to or process with the Services, including ensuring that you have the right to possess and process those materials. Investment Vault extracts candidate events for your review; you remain responsible for reviewing, confirming, rejecting, or deferring those candidates before relying on any reconstructed history.

For information you store locally using the Services, including records processed and stored on your device by Investment Vault, you are responsible for maintaining device security, access controls, and backups of important source documents and exports. Dog House Ventures is not responsible for loss of data stored on your device.

The Services, including software, branding, text, and related materials, are owned by Dog House Ventures LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Dog House Ventures or its products’ names, logos, or marks except as needed to use the Services as provided.

The Services may change as they are developed. Software may contain errors or incomplete features, and functionality can change without notice. Access to the Services may be modified or discontinued at any time. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Services.

The Services do not provide financial, investment, brokerage, legal, tax, medical, veterinary, or other professional advice. In particular, Investment Vault’s records and reconstructed histories are not recommendations to buy, sell, hold, transfer, or value any security, or guidance for legal or tax compliance. Nothing in the Services should be interpreted as such a recommendation or guidance. Consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your circumstances.

The Services do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose. Investment Vault specifically reconstructs ownership history from the statements and confirmed events you provide. It can identify potential gaps and inconsistencies based on available evidence, but it does not invent missing records or guarantee completeness, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose. Results depend on the quality and coverage of source documents and on your review decisions.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOG HOUSE VENTURES LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services or portions of the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if continued access creates risk, or if we discontinue a feature or program. You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the effective date of the current version. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States and the state of formation of Dog House Ventures LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise. Venue for disputes arising from these Terms will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the company’s principal place of business.
